A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work as a Support Worker in a outstandingly well run residential home and day centre for adults with autism spectrum conditions.

Based in the Haywards Heath area of West Sussex, this beautiful residential home houses around 20 - 25 service users who display emotional and challenging behaviour.

This role is to support the residents to lead a full and valued life, promoting choice and independence. The service users are very active and enjoy lots of different activities on a day to day basis.

You will need to be passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities, be very energetic and be able to work well in a team. You will need to very flexible as you would be required to work shift patterns, including alternate weekends, and occasional sleep in shifts.

You will have previous experience of working with challenging behaviour and learning disabilities, preferably autism. If you have experience of working within dementia, you will be also considered.

In return for your hard work, you will be offered a salary of £15894/£8.83 per hour and sleep in enhancements on top.
