Working within our LexisNexis Magazines and Journals team you will be responsible for delivering results though selling display and recruitment advertising solutions. The clients are a range of new business prospects in the Health and Safety sector. This will include print, online, e-newsletter and sponsorship. The successful candidate will carry out face to face meetings on a regular basis and support junior staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of advertising solutions, strategy, financial reporting and managing staff on a day to day basis. You will be concentrate on new business and building strong client relationships within the health and safety industry. Managing key accounts on an ongoing basis and the overall portfolio. Key duties: To develop and execute the sales strategy and plan for your portfolio, exceeding the revenue targets. Ensure all accounts have an optimum planned contact strategy. Develop a deep knowledge of the market in order come up with new ideas to develop the portfolio brand(s). A high amount of new business activity. The position will develop into account management across the top customers in the portfolio of products. Launching new products and revenue streams to maximise revenues and exceed budgets. Works collaboratively and builds trust with key stakeholders around the business. Skills Required: Proven track record of managing a portfolio of print and online products in a commercially motivated sales environment. Proven track record of new business achievement. Proven track record of managing effective account growth. Excellent sales skills and knowledge of strategic and tactical publishing. Confidence in pitching both face to face and on the telephone.
