Building Surveyor Position - Dynamic consultancy in Surrey are seeking a Building Surveyor Role - Private & Public Clients - Various Sectors - Mainly project based Person - MRICS - 1-year PQE - Experience in both project & professional matters A multi-discipline property consultancy hat operate across the south east of England are seeking a Building Surveyor to join their Surrey office. The consultancy has seen steady growth in recent years and are now looking to take on a Building Surveyor to help them meet their increasing workload. The main focus of their work is within the high-end residential market. Based in Ripley, Surrey, this role will entail office work as well as travelling to sites and clients. The Company Consisting of an experienced team of quantity surveyors, project managers, construction managers and building surveyors, this consultancy pride themselves on their professionalism and the high standards they maintain with clients. This practice work with a mixture of Private and Public-sector clients across residential and various commercial type properties. Being situated close to both the A3 and M25, this consultancy is perfectly poised to operate around London as well as the South East of England. Boasting an impressive portfolio, examples of this firm's clientele include high end residential properties, churches, private sports clubs and health spas. The Role The Role will include many technical aspects of building surveying. Supported by an in-house administration team, the successful Building Surveyor will be required to work at a good pace whilst managing their own workload and exploiting opportunities of business development. There will be an element of project management, specifically overseeing refurbishments and repairs. The day to day duties of this role will include; - Due Diligence/Building Surveys - Contract Administration - Schedules of Condition - Defect Diagnosis - Schedules of dilapidations - Party wall surveying - Specification writing - Document tendering The Successful Building Surveyor Working for reputable consultancy in Surrey, the successful Building Surveyor will be expected to uphold and maintain their excellent level of client care.
