The Global Regulatory Affairs Associate is part of the Substance Management team within Global Regulatory Affairs. The incumbent has responsibility for the acquisition, database management and reporting of information relating to product and raw material chemical safety, technical, product stewardship and regulatory compliance. This position reports to the Associate Director, Global Regulatory Affairs. The incumbent works independently to obtain data from internal customers and external vendors, to evaluate and manage this data within the SAP EHS environment and to provide reports from SAP. This position provides support to both the KCP and Consumer businesses with a focus on the Asia Pac region •Implement programs and procedures which ensure effective Safety and Quality attitudes and practices. •Ensure that all elements of the corporate Human Resources Development and Diversity policy are fully supported •Manages self in accordance with the One K-C Behaviours and Culture of Accountability. •Implement the documentation and report of unit work as required by Global Regulatory Affairs policy, effective communication, protection of proprietary information, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. •Communicate appropriately with all customers and peers, conducting all communications and transactions with the utmost integrity and honesty so as to build an unimpeachable business reputation •Liaise with external vendors either direct or through Sourcing and Supply, Research & Development, Product Supply, Marketing, Finance, Global Regulatory Affairs, Global Product Safety, Global Quality Assurance, Sustainability. •Work alongside Global Regulatory Affairs and Global Product Safety team members to provide chemical safety and/or regulatory chemical management information on products (commercial and in development) and their raw materials and ingredients. •Provide data entry services into SAP and maintain toxicology and chemical compliance databases on substances, raw materials and products within the portfolio. •Manage and maintain key contact lists for material suppliers, as needed, in order to obtain required information for regulatory registration or notification programs such as European or Korean REACH, EU RoHS, US TSCA, China New Chemical Substances regulation, etc. •Initiate business workflows and provide data inputs and/or other required information to process all necessary information within SAP. •Evaluate, appropriately process and respond to incoming requests to Global Regulatory Affairs for technical, chemical compliance or product safety support assistance. Identify, and escalate as appropriate, technical or chemical compliance issues or material changes that may impact Kimberly-Clark products or business sectors globally. •Effectively work within Global Product Safety and systems and processes, support and strengthen strategic internal customer and external material supplier relationships, and prioritize work – all while making cost effective decisions. The incumbent is responsible for managing key contact relationships with strategic material suppliers such that the organisation is viewed as valued and indispensable partner. •Perform other tasks and activities as directed by the Regulatory Affairs Manager / Associate Director GRA.
