Global Insurance company is seeking an experienced PA to support their Group Finance and Leadership team at their City of London headquarters.

This is a temporary to permanent position to start ASAP and will pay GBP18.00 per hour.

The main purpose of the PA will be to provide Personal Assistant and admin support to the Senior Finance team. Duties include:

- Organise the Director's diary and activities so as to make the best use of his/her time and meet his/her requirements and priorities
- Screen, prioritise and annotate incoming information and communications (telephone, electronic, paper); responding, re-directing or referring to the Director as appropriate
- Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, briefing papers and presentations for meetings/conferences, creatively formatting and presenting information when necessary
- Organise travel and visit itineraries for the Director and, as required, visitors, including travel, transport, meeting and accommodation arrangements
- Handle sensitive and/or confidential information and/or documentation with appropriate discretion and regard for the physical security of associated paperwork and electronic files
- Maintain required files and record systems (paper and electronic) in an accurate, up-to-date, secure and orderly fashion
- Plan and manage own workload to maximise efficiency, reflect priorities/deadlines and accommodate changing requirements
- Operate and comply with all relevant office procedures e.g. expense claims, documentation standards and templates
- Provide back up and support, covering for absence and peak workloads for other secretaries as required.

The ideal PA will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:

- Previous PA / Secretarial experience within a professional services organisation.
- Excellent IT skills, including all MS Office packages
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels.
- Proactive and able to use own initiative.
- Good attention to detail and able to collect and analyse information.
- Able to work in a team environment.
