Time to Change is an ambitious programme that aims to end the stigma and discrimination faced by people with mental health problems, and is a partnership between the charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness. The programme is currently funded by the Department of Health, Comic Relief and the Big Lottery Fund until 31 March 2021.

At Rethink Mental Illness, Time to Change projects are led by the External Affairs directorate, within the Marketing, Communications and Membership division. The Marketing, Communications and Membership division helps people affected by mental illness to recover a better quality of life by:

Supporting people affected by mental illness to participate in our organisation and empowering people to tackle stigma and discrimination
Developing and delivering interventions to improve attitudes to mental illness, change behaviour, spread information and effect policy and practice changes
Using a range of tools to reach new audiences and change behaviour - including marketing and training

Job Purpose

To work together to help everyone affected by mental illness recover a better quality of life by providing administrative support to the Time to Change teams based in Rethink Mental Illness. The Time to Change administrator will join the Time to Change Children and Young People and Social Marketing teams and will join a growing movement of people changing how we all think and act about mental health problems.
