Our client is seeking an entrepreneurial and confident qualified accountant to take on a pivotal role ensuring the smooth running of their hospitality and leisure department. As specialist accountants to the restaurant, hotel and hospitality industry, the firm works side-by-side with over 60 hospitality businesses from Michelin-starred restaurants to street food vendors.

Reporting to two senior partners, the firm is looking for a talented finance professional to take ownership of the portfolio of hospitality clients, support the senior management team and shape the overall strategy and direction of the firm.

A predominantly non-technical role, you will be expected to:

- Co-ordinate and manage the process of on-boarding new hospitality clients, including migrating data to Xero
- Liaise with the Outsourcing Department to ensure workload can be managed effectively
- Meet potential hospitality clients to promote and explain the firm's services
- Prepare bespoke fee quotes
- Analyse new clients' business models and understand systems used (including EPOS, invoice management and staff scheduling systems)
- Prepare management accounts, year-end accounts, profit and cash flow forecasts, valuations and business plans
- Perform system reviews and write formal reports
- Provide advice on HMRC investigations, EPOS and other systems
- Design tronc schemes and troncmaster services

As the successful candidate you will:

- Have a passion for the restaurant and hospitality sector
- Be a qualified accountant with at least one year of post qualified experience
- Demonstrate prior experience working with multiple clients in a professional services environment
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
