Marketing Manager Maternity Cover - 1 year contract Full-time - Monday to Friday 36hrs per week We have the pleasure of working with an amazingly creative organisation, to help them recruit for a Marketing Manager, responsible for promoting this organisations exhibition's, displays and services both nationally and internationally, in order to attract and retain a growing and diverse audience. This organisation is a champion of art and has a mission to increase the public's enjoyment of the arts and it its value to society. This role is a 1 year Fixed Term Contract, covering a maternity leaver and is full time paying GBP29,300per annum. This role is quite a busy hands on role, and as a result they need someone with at least 1-3 years management experience, as well as someone who can work proactively, manage campaigns end to end and someone with great project management skills. We need someone with an eye for spotting opportunity and who has no issue with presenting to senior stake holders.Main Activities/Responsibilities;•Plan and manage an effective programme of marketing activity for this organisation to achieve its overall objectives, including marketing the brand, exhibitions and Collection Displays as well as some events. •Manage the marketing strategy for exhibitions and displays, including identifying target audiences, and devising and implementing campaigns to include advertising, print, digital media, media partnerships, promotions ,social media, online and direct marketing.•Develop new marketing initiatives to attract new visitors, both nationally and internationally.•Day-to-day management of agency relationships, including media planners and buyers, the advertising agency and other suppliers.•Form and develop innovative partnerships (tourist bodies, promotional partners, sponsors, other arts organisations) for the benefit of the organisation and its visitors.•Work closely with the Head Campaigns to manage the marketing budget, following organisational procedures, monitoring expenditure and obtaining value for money.•Responsible for effective data collection and management.•Manage Marketing OfficerBeing in quite an artsy environment, the chosen person should be a creative and results focused individual who's approaches marketing projects with the ambition to achieve and exceed targets - other qualities essential for the role include ;•Experience of managing, devising and implementing effective marketing campaigns in a large organisation.•Creativity and flair - an entrepreneurial approach combined with energy and enthusiasm to create innovative marketing campaigns.•Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation skills, and the ability to achieve consensus among a number of different departments, and to gain senior agreement for communications recommendations.•Experience of working collaboratively with other organisations - sponsors, media owners, promotional partners, tourist bodies, etc.Desirable•A marketing qualification.•Experience of managing agencies, designers and suppliers.•Experience of working in tourism marketing This is an exciting role and one which may appeal more to those who have a genuine love of the arts!
