Robertson Bell is working with one of the largest international charities on a Grant Accountant position, responsible for working with the Global Accounting team on the financial reporting for their grant income. This provides an opportunity to get involved with an organisation that promotes from within and offers progression and consistently rewards hard work. This position will be responsible for supporting the central finance team on the financial reporting to the organisations key donors including the EU, DFID and USAID who provide funding for large international projects across the world. The Grants Accountant will be responsible for producing consolidated management accounts and managing the restricted funds for the organisation. Keeping on top of project budgets and preparing project journals and forecasting reports will be key responsibilities here. The successful candidate will be part or fully qualified (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with experience in multi-currency reporting and providing key financial reports accurately and within deadlines. Experience in providing support on financial processes is essential, and the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate areas where they have identified and implemented efficiency increasing measures. Whilst not essential, an understanding of large donor reporting requirements would be advantageous.
