If you're a Fullstack UI Developer able to developer predominantly client-side using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap & jQuery yet retain an understanding in sever-side development using Java, Spring, Hibernate & SQL this job with an award-winning insurance software house is for you. The Job As a Fullstack UI Developer, you'll be part of a renowned inhouse development team working on an award-winning insurance software system that services for clients including the likes of Zurich, Aviva, ERS plus much more. Working as part of an Agile development team, you'll collaborate with both backend and frontend developers aiding the general development and new features for the software system using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Bootstrap, Java, Spring & Hibernate daily. Due to the Agile cross-functional nature of the team, they'll be much fluidity within the department with yourself able to pair of with backend or frontend developers to thrash out POC's and new technological ideas to be put into production. The Tech & Experience - Solid understanding in UI client-side development using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap & jQuery is essential - Knowledge in server-side development using Java, Spring or Hibernate would be great - Experience using SQL, MySQL, DB2 or Oracle databases - Exposure to Agile development principles (Scrum, Kanban or XP) - Previous experience working within the insurance sector would be massive brownie points - 2 years' commercial development experience is a minimum requirement. The Salary This job provides a salary bracket in the region of £40,000 - £60,000 plus a great benefits package including pension scheme, private medical care, 25 days holiday, regular reviews, flexible working hours and more. The salary and benefits package can be flexible dependent on numerous factors including level of experience, skill set or relevant experience within this company's field of business.
