Account Manager, Sales Executive, Business Development Manager
- Do you currently sell to distributors or stockists in the construction industry? Are you looking to progress your career with a genuine market leader in paints & coatings? Up to £35k basic, £45k OTE great benefits. - THE COMPANY; - Our client is a highly regarded, long established, premium manufacturer of decorative paints & coatings targeting the premium end of the market. - Our client has tremendous growth plans so this is an exciting time to be joining the business. - Our client supply the leading paints and coatings distributors, independent trade retailers, architects and interior designers. - THE ROLE; - You will be selling premium paints & coatings into approximately 120 buying accounts. - These accounts would typically spend £15k-£25k per annum. Some of your accounts could be spending £100k per annum. - These consist of national paint distributors such as Brewers, independent trade retailers, architects and Interior Designers. - You'll be covering Hampshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, and South London. - You will be tasked with calling on 6-8 clients per day. - You will run training mornings and help to support your distributors. - You will ensure that merchandising and display stands provide optimum presentation of your paints in your distributors' stores. - You'll attend site visits to resolve technical and product issues. - You will gain new business with stockists & interior designers. - You will understand market / competitors and share this knowledge via monthly reports. - You'll help clients with their technical inquiries and attend trade shows / exhibitions as needed. - THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE; - Our client offers excellent training, so previous experiences in paints and coatings isn't necessary. - You will have a track record of success in account management and new business, ideally with distributors, stockists, and merchants. - You will be conscientious, diligent, and always ask for the order. - You must have the ability to sell an aspirational product. - You will be confident, persuasive, and ambitious as our client has exciting long-term plans. - You must have the ability to learn and retain technical information, be self-motivated, personable, well presented with good negotiation skills. - THE RENUMERATION; - Basic salary £30-35k, OTE £45k - Company car up to the value of £25k - 20 days holiday, rising with service - Pension contribution scheme - If you have the qualities that our client is looking for, then please call Colin Chandler, Divisional Manager, Mandeville Sales Recruitment on SEO; Portsmouth, Southampton, Brighton, Crawley, Guildford, Hastings, Ashford, Maidstone, Reigate, Croydon, Wimbledon, Catford, Bromley Mandeville is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
