Are you a self-motivated and sharp minded individual with experience of managing an Administrational team delivering internal and external customer experience which meets our vision to help us beat cancer sooner?

Take responsibility for the smooth running of our small, dynamic admin office where your professionalism, initiative and office skills will be welcomed. We are looking for a proactive, resourceful and enthusiastic manager to join our busy and friendly team supporting Cancer Research UK's 600 shops, and based in Horsham.

Your full-time role will involve providing a full range of office management duties whilst our centre manager is on maternity leave including...

• Day to Day running of an office of 15 Retail Administrators

• Organising office operations, procedures and mail room

• Delivering high standards of customer and supporter service interaction

• Managing shop recruitment and volunteering procedures

• Budget management and planning

• Managing contract and price negotiations with a range of suppliers

• Liaison with building tenants; including cleaning and other shared services

• Coordinating with IT department on all office equipment.

Here at Cancer Research UK, our passionate Trading department contributes GBP25 million per year towards funding ground breaking work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer- enabling us to engage with communities and share information about our visions to beat cancer sooner. With over 600 shops across the UK, our retail teams are among the most visible faces of the Charity and help to raise awareness of our cause, promote cancer prevention and early diagnosis messages as well as generating income.

You will have the flexibility to implement new procedures and systems to improve the smooth running of the office. Managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines you need to be comfortable being independent and making decisions. This position will suit you if you have good interpersonal and presentation skills, and office management experience. You need to be self-directed and have organisational and problem-solving skills. With extensive experience of Microsoft Office Suite of products including advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
