We now have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Site Management to join our team in Manchester. This role will be responsible to lead a regional department of Site Managers to ensure the safe, timely and effective execution of projects. What are my responsibilities? The Head of Site Management will ensure availability of sufficient, qualified and competent personnel according to the offshore project road map, company and business strategy requirements. You will implement, continuously improve and optimizes processes, workflows and standards to standardize execution and create a safe working environment. You will closely liaise and interact with other regional Heads of Site Management to maintain and improve a global safe, productive and effective working environment and ensure Site Managers work according to role function assigned. Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to: - Responsibility to ensure that EHS standards, procedures and EHS plans are implemented at project sites by Site Managers to create a Zero Harm environment and that Site Managers perform within their leading function as a role model. - Support and provide advice during the tender process in regards to technical clarifications and documentation relevant for the installation, commission and review of schedules in regard to the execution at project sites. - Represent the Site Management function until Site Manager is established in all aspects related to the Site Management and ensures compliance with execution requirements, standards, processes and regulations, HAZIP and HAZOP. - Responsible for the controlling and transparent reporting of assigned accounts and budgets of the cost centre. Also responsible for considering current project requirements vs. upcoming project requirements and manpower allocation based on demand, requirement and request - Coach and develop the team and gives individuals and groups feedback on performance and expectations. Hold performance reviews that focus on the comparison and outline required training and future career development measures. What do I need to qualify for this job? This is a business critical role that requires someone with previous proven experience of site management. You must be able to understand the demands and details required to manage multiple sites and be able to deliver effectively. You will be able to handle conflicts and be a solution-oriented individual who can understand technical issues as well. Ideally, you will have experience of working within the Offshore industry and have a solid understanding of the work processes at project sites. You will also be EHS focussed and be able to identify risks before they happen. To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You must be able to demonstrate experience of working with large scale and complex projects effectively. This role also requires ability to manage a matrix team and a range of stakeholders from a multicultural environment who are spread out globally. Lastly, as this role requires you to travel frequently, you will be willing and able to travel throughout the UK and abroad.
