Title: Marketing Executive, Jane’s by IHS Markit Summary: This challenging role’s key objective will be to provide all necessary marketing support to aid AD&S sales growth globally. This position creates, implements and manages marketing communication activities designed to generate product awareness, brand identity and drive business opportunities. Responsibilities: Create and execute marketing campaigns to drive awareness and lead generation across multiple platforms and communication channels. Using analytics tools (Web Analytics – Omniture, Eloqua, Social Media etc.) to track and analyse the delivery and performance of campaigns. Ensuring all engagement targets are met and findings communicated to stakeholders Working with Editorial teams to maximise marketing efforts on content Develop landing pages for hybrid online/offline campaigns, tracking and reporting online leads and performing continual optimisation and performance assessment Maximise online exposure by distributing relevant content across platforms and channels Stay aligned with industry best practise keeping abreast of latest practices, technology and principles. Support the planning and execution of multi-channel (email, webinar, PR, video, social media) content-led marketing campaigns Execute digital set-up and management of campaigns using our marketing automation and CRM systems Analyse results of campaigns, and report back to the marketing team, providing recommendations for optimal performance based on results Creation of trigger campaigns as a result from data collected from downloadable content Support day-to-day marketing activities across the team on an ad-hoc basis Support the development, creation and maintenance of HTML emails and email programs, Manage the execution of all digital elements of the marketing mix to support the promotion of content Working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver campaigns in a timely, effective and innovative manner. This includes: Working with global sales teams to develop a key understanding of our customers’ requirements. Working with Editorial teams to maximise marketing efforts on content Working with CRM and PR teams to increase the exposure of campaigns Managing third-party vendors to extend the reach of campaigns Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study or industry recognised qualification 5 years’ experience in a campaign marketing role, with particular reference to content marketing, branded content, advertising, social media and webinars Experience with, and passion for, digital publishing and advertising Excellent writing skills with the ability to master our brand voice Solid content management experience using CMS’s / digital publishing platforms / websites, with deep understanding of presenting content in an inspiring, accurate, relevant, user friendly and commercially-aware manner Understanding of email marketing best practice and KPIs (2-3 years’ experience essential) Experience in HTML, CRM and Excel a plus Ideally familiar with the Aerospace, Defence and Security domain An analytical mind-set with a knowledge of industry reporting tools and the ability to create a narrative from raw data - presenting this back to clients and stakeholders in a compelling and convincing manner Solid understanding of commercial/advertising requirements and how to turn requirements into deliverable strategies Ability to manage multiple campaigns, work with a wide range of stakeholders within an organisation and handle potentially conflicting requirements Creative, and organized with strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, communication skills, and time management abilities We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/Disability/Veterans.
