CitySprint have a new opportunity to recruit an experienced Courier Asset Support Officer to join our Fleet team based at the London International and UK Overnight Service Centre. Your role as a Courier Asset Support Officer is to assist with technical support and training for all users.

Working with a variety of colleagues within our business and very closely with our couriers, this role will push you to your limits and enable you to grow in capability and confidence.

The main responsibilities include:

To provide training to CitySprint staff super users and support to all couriers using CityTrakkers, Courier App, two-way radio and all accessories.
To ensure that appropriate records for CityTrakkers, mobile handsets, two-way radios and all accessories for London and the regions are kept and maintained.
To ensure that there are adequate stock levels for all CityTrakkers, mobile handsets, two-way radios and all accessories.
Resolve any problems with CityTrakker, Courier App, two-way radios and all accessories in person, on the phone or by email, contacting third party service providers where necessary.
Stage, setup and issue CityTrakkers, Courier App (on mobile handsets), two-way radios and all accessories for London and Regional couriers.
Run a weekly report on all inactive CityTrakkers & courier app users, assess working status and recover the CityTrakker, mobile handsets & two-way radios where necessary.
Run a daily, weekly and monthly stock reports
Repair damaged CityTrakkers, mobile handsets, two-way radios and any repairable accessories or send them to a third party service provider.

Essential Criteria:

A solid understanding of Fleet operations in a same day courier environment.
Previous experience in courier recruitment and retention.
Demonstrable leadership and people management experience, including managing staff performance.
Ability to give clear communication, both written and verbal, to clients, couriers and staff and remain professional at all time.
Excellent IT skills: Excel and Word, PowerPoint.
Good presentation skills.
Problem solving skills, able to devise innovative solutions.
Ability to self-manage, acting on your own initiative without supervision.
Be highly organised.
Be capable of working under pressure.
