Corporate Learning Sales Manager - London

An exciting European based EdTech company are looking for a talented Business Development Manager to head up their corporate learning sales across UK & Europe. This is a London based role, where the successful candidate will lead sales efforts in the UK market and help the company meet its aggressive growth targets. You will be tasked with developing sales opportunities for the organisations language and skills training services with prospects, clients and partners in accordance with the company's Business Development strategy.

Core responsibilities & experience of the Sales Manager:
  • Generating new business sales in the UK
  • Educated to degree level, and with a minimum of five years' experience in sales, you will be an experienced sales professional with a passion for winning
  • Demonstrate experience of working and developing opportunities with Human Resources, Learning and Development, Talent, Leadership and Global Mobility departments
  • Networking and utilising all resources in the most effective way to ensure targets are met
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and developing all prospect contact information
Sales responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
  • Developing a sales pipeline to meet aggressive growth targets
  • Proactive sales campaigns
  • Telemarketing
  • Face-to-face sales and development meetings
  • Relevant exhibitions and promotional events
  • You will be responsible for creating; Sales campaigns, Sales pipeline, Business development activities, New leads and sales, Competitor activity
  • Visiting targeted business prospects
  • Create pitches and proposals for potential clients
  • Lead and Manage responses to RFIs and RFPs
  • Increase the number of targeted organisations and people attending the corporate "events"

The ideal candidate:
  • Hands on Sales experience in Corporate Learning in the UK
  • Has extensive experience in Sales/Business Development
  • Has worked closely with CEO's, C-suite Executives and Business Directors
  • Has a track record of generating high value business and drives results
  • Experience within top consulting firms, blue chip corporations or MNC's
  • A real networker with great connections in the education and tech sectors
  • Willing to travel
  • Positive can-do attitude, think on your feet and can work at lightning speed
