Working from the Head Office based in the London Docklands (Mon - Fri), this Senior Retail Sales Manager has the responsibility for managing over a dozen London based retail sites who are focused on successfully delivering the companys profitability & budget targets through providing Foreign Exchange & Remittance services as a Money Services Business.

In this role the Senior Retail Sales Manager will lead and manage the Branch Managers and Business Development specialists, driving sales forward to achieve ambitious growth plans whilst engaging with the senior management team to develop and implement successful sales strategies.

Requiring current experience in managing a multi Branch Money Services Business, you will be highly familiar with FX & Remittance sales processes and procedures and have a record of developing both sales growth and your teams, driving both to deliver success.

Responsibilities Include:

- Team management - developing and growing your sales team leaders, indirectly improving each Branch performance on sales and compliance.
- Grow existing and develop new retail market segments.
- Engage closely with Group Marketing to propose the development of new marketing propositions.
- Devise market plans for services, driving and coordinating the execution.
- Maintain awareness of market trends in the FX / Remittance industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitor what local competitors are doing.
- Develop Customer Value Proposition, suggesting new products & services.
- Set targets, track growth and develop retail sales, by ensuring that the Branches achieve and sales targets are tracked on a daily basis.
- Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales volumes to optimise profits and ensure all branches operating in the most efficient manner.
- Resolve customer complaints pertaining to the branch network service in coordination with compliance.
- Work closely with operations, liaise with the marketing department for the branding of new offices and ensure a consistent look and feel.
- Take ownership in defining the branch service standards expected in all the branches as to be delivered by all staff.
- Recruit, inspire, develop, manage and motivate a growing team of sales professionals, who deliver high standards of sales services across all identified markets and service lines.
- Ensure that all staff understand and fully implement all relevant KYC, AML and all other compliance and FCR regulations and best practices.

Skills & Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in FX / Remittance industry of which 2+ must be in a senior sales role.
- Proven sales track record in the financial service sector and strong organisational, time management, negotiation and communication skills are required.
- Hands-on management style and proven experience of managing and motivating a sales team.
- Sales and operations oriented mentality, with a strong drive to succeed, a strong work ethic, high energy levels and ability to set & achieve incrementally increasing goals and targets.
