Project Manager / Business Analyst (SMR/ SMCR)

GBP500 per day
6 Month Rolling Contract
Senior Manager Regime

In this role you will be responsible for working with a range of stakeholders, predominantly from HR and Compliance on the analysis and delivery of new regulatory requirements for the Senior Managers and Certification Regime, due in 2018.

The role requires both good business and market analysis skills as well as basic project management skills, in order to coordinate a range of concurrent activities across the organisation. The role will be actively involved in the development and delivery of ensuing solutions. This role requires experience in implementing business change management with process and technical components. In particular, this project will require stakeholder engagement at the most senior levels of the organisation

Key Responsibilities of the role:

* Review and analyse regulatory requirements working closely with Compliance, HR and Risk

* Document the gap analysis of current state against requirements

* Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables

* Work with key SMEs in HR and Compliance to develop the organisation's response to the Regulatory requirements.

* Assess business impact and prepare the business for change

* Facilitate communications and interactions across various SME and stakeholder groups

* Manage risks and issues

* Manage stakeholders and communications

* Manage delivery lifecycle documentation

The ideal candidate must have experience in:

Implementing Compliance led and HR content heavy change.

* Understanding of the SMCR regulations as they apply to Asset Managers

* Able to manage and coordinate multiple workstreams

* Understanding of HR processes and procedures as impacted by SMCR

* Attention to detail in analysing complex regulatory requirements

* Proven track record in implementing solutions of regulatory projects

* Experience in the financial services industry
