About the Early Years Teaching Assistant Role

This Early Years Teaching Assistant position involves working across the whole of Early Years and you will be bringing your own ideas to lessons plans. Your responsibilities will include receiving continual support and guidance from the Class Teacher. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant you will be fostering and nurturing the creative ethos and atmosphere that the Head of Phase has created. Your support will be provided by your designated mentor who has plenty of experience working at the school as a Class Teacher and knows the best approach to take with different students. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant you will be supporting groups of pupils or on a 1:1 basis outside of the classroom in areas of the curriculum that they find difficult to grasp.
